Nayaswami Ananta is a deep soul who serves many as a Kriyacharya (teacher of Kriya yoga), spiritual guide and gardener, deeply in tune with nature and plants. He served for many years on the farm in Ananda village, until 1986, when Swami Kriyananda asked him and his wife Maria to direct the Ananda community in Sacramento.
After serving 23 years there, they returned to Ananda village to restore the organic farm and to direct youth summer programs. Ananta still heads the Ananda farm and serves as an example for the life of Kriya yogi and a deep devotee of the path of self-realization.
