The holy bible is not just the book with the most number of copies ever printed or sold, it is also the singular religious scripture that has shaped most of Western civilization for 2000 years. It's power for touching and transforming spiritual seekers is as dynamic today as it was centuries ago. Hence, it can rightly be considered a living scripture.

For the novice reader the Bible can be intimidating. Not only is it a non linear compilation of many accounts by various authors, the true meaning is often shrouded in allegories or symbolism.

Paramhansa Yogananda refered to his own work as the "second coming of christ" for he felt and channeled direct inspiration from Christ to reinterpret and explain the esoteric truths in this great scripture.

This course is for anyone looking to deepen their relationship with the Bible and the teachings of Christ from a yogi's stand point. It is ideal for those who did not grow up studying the bible, or for those have familialiy with the scripture and are looking to reconcile it with the yogic world view.

"There are three Bibles which I read and from which I draw my outer inspiration: the Christian Bible, the Hindu Bhagavad Gita, and my Whispers from Eternity, which were given to me by God." - Paramhansa Yogananda
