  • Amador Rancho CommunitY Center (Russell Room) 1998 Rancho Park Loop San Ramon, CA 94582 United States (map)

This is an outreach event taking place at Amador Rancho Community Center (Russell Room), 1998 Rancho Park Loop, San Ramon, CA 94582. All are welcome.

Join us for a transformative workshop exploring the timeless wisdom of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi".

Often referred to as the “Father of the Yoga in the West”, Yogananda was the first Indian Yoga Master to take residence in the US. He made the ancient teachings of Yoga practical and applicable universally, devoid of any ritual or systems of belief.

Meditation is central to Yogananda’s teachings. With the right tools even the most restless of minds can be calmed by consciously working with one’s energy and life force.

As a representative of the Himalayan yogis Yogananda brought to the west the ancient science of Kriya yoga, a system of meditation that accelerates one's spiritual growth.

Learn about the revolutionary nature of Yogananda’s teachings that have brought east and west together. Through meditation, discussion, and practical exercises, we’ll learn how to cultivate calmness, develop awareness of our energy, and touch into the wellspring of inner peace.

First time participants will receive a hard copy of Yogananda’s “Autobiography of a Yogi” as a welcome gift! RSVP below to claim your free copy of the book.
