Overcome restlessness, improve concentration, and gain control over negative emotions. Mastery of the mind holds the keys to unlocking a happier, healthier, and wiser version of yourself.

The agitated and restless qualities we struggle with are often characterized as the monkey mind. Mastering it can improve focus and productivity and, more importantly, help tap into the source of peace within, allowing us to be free from anxiety, worries, sleep troubles, and much more.

The ancient science of Yoga offers us priceless keys to work with the body, breath, and life force to tackle and overcome what holds us back.

The morning workshop is designed to be practical and applicable to your daily life. Grounded in practice and experience, it will help you discover tools and techniques that can break old habits and shift your energy in a positive direction.

It is surprising how powerful these simple exercises can be.

The workshop will be helpful whether you have some meditation experience or are a complete novice. Dress comfortably to do some gentle yoga and guided meditation.

Your Instructors

Saiganesh Sairaman

Saiganesh is a life long meditator, meditation teacher, and public speaker. He currently serves the co-manager at Ananda Palo Alto. In the past he has served as a manager and management consultant at Fortune 500 companies in the Bay area. He has extensive experience leading workshops, retreats and seminars in academic and corporate settings on workplace stress, meditation, mindfulness, breathwork and much more.

Lakshmi LaPine

Lakshmi spends her mornings teaching English at the local public high school. Her commitment to merging mindfulness and academics in a professional setting led her to additionally serve as a conflict meditator for many years in the public school. She is also one of the co-managers of Ananda Palo Alto. She is a thoughtful and delightfully engaging teacher who has trained numerous students over the years in meditation and integrating the teachings of yoga into daily life.
