Fire ceremony and meditation 9am
Sunday service 10-11:30 am
Service with special guest Nayaswami Aditya from Ananda Pune.
Services at Ananda are joyful, music-filled, and thoughtful. They explore meaningful answers to challenging questions about life. There is often laughter, and sometimes heartfelt tears.
Service is inspired by the spiritual teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi) and his lifelong disciple, Swami Kriyananda. It begins with a short period of chanting and meditation, followed by readings from the Bhagavad Gita and Bible, a 30-minute sermon, and a ceremony afterward, called the Festival of Light.
Nayaswami Aditya (Dr. Aditya Gait) serves as the Spiritual Director of Ananda Sangha Pune. He is also a Medical Practitioner, whose chief interests lie in sharing the teachings and benefits of yoga as a healthy and successful way of life. Aditya came to Ananda Sangha in 2008 and has since then actively helped with the Pune community operations.
He is also a Trustee with Ananda Sangha. Aditya conducts yoga, meditation, health workshops in colleges, companies and institutions.
