Come join us for an evening celebrating Shiva, the Lord of Yogis and the Disolver of Delusion.
Shiva is one of the most beloved forms of the Infinite in India. Representing the dissolving quality of AUM, He is that part of God's consciousness which helps draw us back home into cosmic consciousness.
As such, Shiva is often called the first yogi, for no one can attain true yoga (union with God) without first communing with Shiva. Shivaratri is an annual celebration where devotees offer love and devotion to Shiva for taking upon himself their bad karmas, helping to liberate them and draw them more rapidly into the divine fold.
Join us for an Indian feast, featuring many traditional dishes served in celebration of Shiva, from 6pm-7pm.
Dinner will be followed by an inspirational evening from of devotional chanting, storytelling, music, mystical poetry, meditation, mantra, and featuring especially a live-reenactment of Shiva and his consort, Parvati. Come feel the liberating grace of God through the aspect of Shiva in this fun-filled and devotional evening to the King of Yogis.
