This new year, give yourself the gift of a deeper and more fulfilling inner life. Join us on this six week Journey to inspire your meditation practice. This course is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen or start building a daily meditation habit. The techniques taught will also serve as a first step on the path of kriya yoga.
Each week will include a live zoom session with a lecture discussion and 30 mins or more of guided practices. Participants will receive videos, audios and PDFs as supplemental material to accompany the lessons. There will also be an opportunity for one free personalized coaching session with one of the instructors.
As part of the course, we will
- Discuss the science of meditation and its effect on the brain
- Explore the mind-body connection through guided postures and exercises
- Use the breath as a tool to relax at will
- Practice affirmations and visualizations to deepen your practice
- Develop devotion through chanting
- Discuss ways to cultivate meditative awareness in daily activities
