As Yogananda describes in his Autobiography, just as the fragrance of flowers cannot be suppressed, so Lahiri Mahasaya, quietly living as an ideal householder, could not hide his innate glory. The spiritual renaissance that began in a remote corner of Benares 1861 through this liberated master has spread far and wide drawing many thousands of seekers worldwide to the sacred science of Kriya yoga. Through stories, music and meditation, we will immerse ourselves in the teachings of this Avatar of Yoga.
Inner Communion Retreat Series: God is whispering to us in every moment, but often we miss His call amidst the bustle of daily activity. There is an ever-constant, inner stillness behind the outer world of emotions, sense enjoyments, desires and restless thoughts. At that still center of all vibratory motion, the soul perceives love, bliss and infinite peace. The essence of inner communion is learning how to listen to and receive the power from God to transform our lives. This retreat series will guide us to that place of inner stillness where we can both perceive and receive God's love. As Paramhansa Yogananda said, “Stillness is the altar of Spirit."
Each morning retreat will include structured time for discourse, live music & devotional chanting, self-reflection and meditation.
