The concept of working with energy is central to the path of Kriya Yoga and the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. Energy serves as the vital link between consciousness and matter, between mind and body, and holds the key to deepening our meditation practice and achieving success.
The Energization Exercises are Paramhansa Yogananda’s unique contribution to the science of yoga. This set of 39 exercises was developed by the great yogi to recharge the “body battery” and gain mastery over subtle energy (prana) through the power of will. By learning to control your energy, you can also gain control over your thoughts, cultivating radiant well-being and positive habits.
In this four-week series, we will:
Learn and practice Yogananda’s Energization Exercises to recharge body, mind, and soul.
Explore the connection between will and energy, and discover ways to strengthen both.
Deepen our meditation practice by improving relaxation and focus.
