Swami Kriyananda’s book Art as a Hidden Message provides a visionary blueprint for the future of art, highlighting its unique ability to foster a more expansive relationship with ourselves and with our communities. By exploring the transformative power of creativity, we recognize that both a creative expression and an appreciation of art and beauty can inspire spiritual growth. As we attune ourselves to a higher reality, we can become channels for its expression.
In this 3-week class, explore the philosophical and practical applications of art, beauty, and creativity as a tool for spiritual growth. Through lecture and discussion we will examine Swami Kriyananda’s teachings on art and creativity, then through guided practice and opportunities for creative expression, we will access that point of intuitive perception where creativity and beauty live.
