Sunday, December 3, 12:15 pm, free
(after Sunday Service)
Let the joyous sounds of the holiday warm your spirit, bring a smile to your heart, and prepare us for the sacred season of Christ’s birth. Choir, small groups and soloists will perform a beautiful selection of Christmas favorites, including traditional carols, classical gems, and music by Swami Kriyananda. Celebrate Christmas in song and in spirit, as we ‘make a joyful noise unto the Lord.’ Enjoy connecting with others at Ananda during lunch, which follows right after our regular Sunday Service.
The program includes:
Guadete
Hark, the herald angels sing (Mendelssohn)
Christmas Lullaby (Rutter)
Seven Rejoices of Mary (traditional)
Break forth, O heavenly Beauteous Light (Bach)
Christmas Mystery, Swami Kriyananda
Boston (early American)
The Christ Child’s Asleep
and much more…
